Nail Polish H&M Play It and Run Baby Run

Nail Polish H&M Play It and Run Baby Run

Nail Polish H&M Play It and Run Baby Run, I like the store H&M and I especially like their cute rectangular shaped nail polish bottles with the quirky colors. I purchased three polishes last year some time and just never got the chance to use the two featured in this post. I didn't feel like doing a 4th of July manicure because everyone else was doing the same thing. So I picked these two colors and did something simple instead. I was disappointed with the drying time and how the Run Baby Run (yellow accent) color looked after topcoat. It was so gorgeous going on and then it just got dull looking with the top coat. All in all I love the colors and how they go together. Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns?

HM Check Me Out and American Apparel Constellation

Last weekend I went to celebrate my 2nd anniversary with Mr. NPT and on the way home he insisted we go shopping. I being not one to argue happily obliged. I was looking for white shorts and capris and could not find a pair that I liked, so I ended up with....you guessed it! More nail polish. I picked up American Apparel Constellation, Meteor Shower, Galaxy and Makeup. I wanted to wear something really girly so I chose this bubble gum pink by H&M called Check Me Out. The glitter was so hard to apply, I literally had to glob it on and then go back and fill in empty spots. I added 2 coats of Seche Vete topcoat to make the glitter lay flat. Overall I really liked this look. It reminded me of something from the 80's. Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns?

I have no idea what was wrong with the lighting in the picture above, but the picture below is more true to form. The polish has a great formula, very easy to control and perfect creme finish.

Please disregard my shiny cuticles I added coconut oil because they were ubber dry!

The Gilded Age

I was waiting to get my Bundle Monster plates for what seemed like weeks! I had a failed attempt at stamping when I bought the MASH plates and was about to give up on stamping all together when I got the Bundle Monster plates. These plates are much better and they also work with most all nail polishes. For the nails I used OPI Don't You Just Love OPI and on my toes I used Revlon's Fashionista. I wasn't too happy with the way the stamping came out on my nails so I added Essie's As Gold as it Gets over the stamping to give it a gilded look, hence the naming of this post. Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns?

My camera doesn't do this color justice and it barely captures the gold hue of the color. I like the combination that OPI selected with this color. It's just the right amount of gold to add an accent but not overshadow the purple. Please excuse the cuticles.

Here is the BM plate 214 with the Essie As Gold as it Gets. I still have to get used to aligning the design properly on the nail from the stamp. The addition of the Essie color helped camouflage that. (natural light)

On my toes I did Revlon Fashionista, and I H&M Gold Treasures for the stamping color. I used the same plate BM214 but I used it in random directions. I like how it turned out. (natural light above artificial light below)

Modern Gold Diggers

Simple designs like this I feel showcase complimentary colors well. I call this Modern Gold Diggers because it's a cleaner version of the sponged gold tips I've seen on other nail polish blogs. Very easy and draws a lot of attention, even the guys at work commented on this mani. Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns?

Crayola Bonanza

I have so many colors that I love so I decided to start using them together. These colors are all inspired by Crayola Crayons. For added effect I added some glitter, because of course glitter makes everything better. Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns?

From pinky to thumb Revlon "Right Said Red", China Glaze "Westside Warrior", American Apparel "Lopez Canyon", China Glaze "First Mate", HM "Wanna Pepperoni". Confetti "Tazmanian Devil" as glitter on top.
